I got only as far as the last ridge. the conditions changed so I turned around. difficult trail, good boots and perhaps poles would be advised. mixed terrain- gravel paths, boulders to climb around/over, slippery rocks. pretty well marked, could do with fresh paint on the arrows soon and new marker poles. small carpark- free

Nice hike, almost all stone path, marked all the way up with white markers and a few crosses also.. 2.5 - 3 hrs up and back.

It can get busy but it’s still a great trail with lots to do. Finishing down at the harbour is great. Crabby Joes is a great place for fish and chips

Great dry trail and good wall/mound to follow all the way to the top and option to skip Sugarloaf on the way down.
