Course is excellent. Cannot wait to race on this. One section is marked off as private. About 3km from the finish. Easily avoided

An enjoyable trail with wonderful views across Carlingford Loch. Places to camp in Ravenside Forest, but it's possible to do the trail with indoor accommodation, which is more plentiful in Carlingford. A lot of road walking with some very boggy parts across hills immediately behind Carlingford. Plentiful water sources so bring your water filter. Very doable on a weekend.
