Nice hike, there is a bit of a climb in a few parts but the trail is well marked. If parking at the church start by going back up the hill you drove down and then follow the signs for the Masspath, just follow theses until you clear the tree line and then turn right. At this point it gets a bit exposed and quite boggy. I did the trail in trail runners but they were soaked through within a few hundred metres. Once you summit you can back trail the way you came or make the descent on the other side of the hill and then when you reach the road take a right and head back towards the town.
