One of my favourite loops to bring people to in Wicklow! Always pretty quiet, beautiful views on all sides of the surrounding mountains, glenmacnass waterfall, and lough Dan. Usually takes about 3.5hrs including breaks at a steady pace. Don’t be fooled by the easy rating though, any beginners I bring here would need a base level of fitness! The path disappears for about 10mins just after kanturk peak but pretty easy to get back on track if you know the direction you need to be heading in. Beautiful all round

Love this loop of Carrauntoohil. Very challenging with fantastic ridge walks. Would suggest to those with high level of fitness and who are experienced hikers.
