This scenic 8-mile walk begins at Minnowburn, following riverside paths in Barnetts Demense to the Gilchrist Bridge at Edenderry before reaching the ancient stone circle at the Giant’s Ring. From here, the route heads back down towards the River Lagan, joining the meandering peaceful towpaths of Lagan Meadows. The walk offers a varied mix of woodland, meadow and riverside scenery, rich wildlife, and a blend of historic and natural landmarks, all within easy reach of the city.
