Out and Back
An out and back route from the car park at Tundergartn Church. Farm track to start up and past the impressive farmhouse (look out for the not so friendly dogs) to continue up to a waymarked right turn to continue across fields and a boggy stream crossing to pick up another track that follows around the back of the hill that has been in view throughout. Eventually turn right off the track up a lovely path through dense undergrowth to exit onto the hill. An easy short climb to the summit follows where you can explore at will. The views are spectacular, especially towards The Solway. Simply retrace your steps to the car park.
