Number of Wainwright's: Six (Eagle Crag, Sergeant's Crag, Ullscarf, Great Crag, Grange Fell, Castle Crag) This medium 6-hour hike forms a scenic 20.9 km loop near Seathwaite in the Lake District, starting and ending at almost the same point. With around 1,100 m of climbing and descent, it offers sustained ups and downs and sweeping valley and fell views. Suitable for fit walkers, the route rewards effort with classic Cumbrian landscapes, changing weather moods, and a satisfying full-day outing without needing an overnight stay.
