This circular hike from Cudham covers about 7.5 km in roughly 1 hour 40 minutes, starting and ending in the village car park (free). Hike could also be started at Hazelwood. . The route has gentle ups and downs, with about 96 m of ascent and 115 m of descent, making it suitable for most walkers. Expect quiet country lanes, woodland paths (bluebells in Spring) and open fields typical of the Kent countryside, with opportunities for birdwatching and wide rural views along the way. Expect to see plenty of horses in fields.
