"A wonderous hike from the heart of County Kilkenny"
This is an easy, child friendly, 2.9km loop trail near Graiguenamanagh, County Kilkenny. Mostly flat, the path is a mix of woodland and riverbank, along with some boardwalk sections. Dogs are welcome, on a lead and there is a carpark at the Outdoor Hub trailhead in Silaire Wood. Look out for otters and kingfishers; this is a great trail for nature lovers of all ages. With several picnic tables and benches along the trail enjoy the peace of the woodlands while you have a rest.
