A fabulous trail. As an older, solo, wild camping hiker I didn't always find it easy. The hills might not be steep or mountainous but some of the climbs through the passes felt long. Fairly well waymarked although some of the signs are faded to being indecipherable and some signs were a little more to obscure to spot. Obviously having a paper map and/or a using the hiiker app helps enormously. I walked early September and some of the paths were very overgrown. I only met one other couple on the trail so very quiet. Take time to have a break in the Upper Lunch Hut before climbing the remainder of the pass and enjoying the fine views. Another little gem was the little Honesty Cafe/Shop along Banff's woodland path. Take a little money with you! The Kitkton of Glenisla Hotel has a potential camp field next to it (although I didn't stay there) and, whether you stay there or not, you can pop in for a help yourself breakfast as you're walking past although it doesn't advertise this as I take a little money for their honesty box too! I completed in 5 days.
