Loop
Starting and ending at Muckross House, with ample car parking, toilet and refreshment options, This loop skips Torc waterfall but it is a quick detour if desired. Dinis cottage makes for a scenic rest stop.
Well worth the short mapped detour near Doo Lough to McRose beach, a secluded little beach at the end of a forest trail.
Leaving Muckross House towards Doo Lough the trail can be quite uneven with stones and tree roots.
Beautiful views of Torc Mountain, Gap of Dunloe and the lakes throughout.
