Challenging loop near Seathwaite in the Lake District, covering about 8.2 miles with roughly 2,900 feet of climbing and a similar descent. Expect steep, sustained ascents and rocky sections that demand good fitness and surefootedness. The route rewards effort with sweeping mountain and valley views, changing weather moods over the fells, and a satisfying high-level circuit that starts and finishes at virtually the same point.
