This was my first Munro (Scottish mountain over 3,000 feet) and a great climb. The trail is well maintained and doable for any reasonably fit person with good knees. The views were Spectacular, loved it!

An easy walk and a shortened variation of the original. This walk follows the River Kelvin at Summerston and then Allander Water into Milngavie. On crossing the A879 the path became overgrown with lots of chest high stinging nettles. This really made for slow progress and lasted until Prescott Bridge where the path became very good for the rest of the hike.
The Falkirk Wheel and The Kelpies

A canal side walk from the Falkirk wheel to the Kelpies and back, that cuts through industrial estates and the backs of houses. Pleasant but nothing to look at other than the canal.
