Park at the Lake Marian car park, found along Hollyford Road off Milford Road (SH94) at Marian Corner, close to Milford Sound.
The track crosses a swinging bridge and follows a series of waterfalls as it makes a steady climb towards the mountainous Lake Marian within the Hanging Valley. After the falls there are more challenging sections where the oath becomes steep and muddy after rainfall.
