A strenuous hike, this trail is only 4.3 km, but with an elevation gain of just under 1,000 feet, it is not for the fainthearted! A linear trail which is also dog friendly, it begins in the 1916 Commemorative Garden of Kilmacanogue, and stretches along country roads and greenways, then over the foothills of the Great Sugar Loaf Mountain, using an old coach road. As you climb up, you are rewarded with stunning views of the surrounding countryside before finishing in Red Lane car park.
