This is a 2.4 km loop trail of moderate difficulty, be prepared for a bit of climbing towards the end and wear good boots as the rocks can be slippery. The trail is near to Kilmacanoge in County Wicklow and is a short but lovely hike, there are lots of great views to be had, although it can be foggy here sometimes . Due to the steep places it is not very suitable for very young children. This trail can be rather busy, especially in nice weather and is popular with hikers and trail runners. Dogs are welcome on a lead.
