One of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been. The hike is rated as difficult but really it’s only because of the first (and thus the last) 1.5 mile section of the hike. This is where the majority of the elevation loss/gain is. It’s definitely worth the effort of getting a trying to get permit and making the journey.
