One of the most beautiful places I鈥檝e ever been. The hike is rated as difficult but really it鈥檚 only because of the first (and thus the last) 1.5 mile section of the hike. This is where the majority of the elevation loss/gain is. It鈥檚 definitely worth the effort of getting a trying to get permit and making the journey.
