Killary Harbour - Fjord Famine Walk

A nice trail from start to finish... It's an easy short (or moderate longer) trail but it has some amazing scenic views as you go regardless. Just bring some waterproof boots as parts can be a little boggy 馃ゾ馃憤

A Challenging but Unforgettable Trek The Western Way is an incredible hike for those who are prepared. The section from Newport to Ballycastle is particularly remote and rugged, offering some of the most stunning, raw beauty I've ever experienced on a trail. The isolation is a huge part of its charm. Be warned, however: there are some dangerous road sections where you need to be extremely careful, and there are absolutely no services8 between Newport and Ballycastle. This is not a trail to underestimate. You must be completely self-sufficient with all your food, water, and gear. Despite the challenges, this hike is so worth it. The wild, untamed landscapes and the feeling of accomplishment at the end make it an unforgettable journey. Pack smart, prepare well, and you'll have an amazing time.
