This varied walk starts from the car park below the Bishop
Park Monument, (the highest point in Oldham at 1,233ft - trig point included) visits Strine Dale, Greenacres Fold, a section of dismantled railway, Lees, County End, Lane Head, Hartshead Pike (hill & tower) Mossley Cross, Brown Edge (stunning views!) Grotton, Wood Brook and High Park. Paths are generally good. There is some walking on country lanes and minor roads and a couple of busy roads to cross.
