Park for free either on road outside Cowden station or in station car park. Easy loop hike featuring streamside section and wildflowerwoods. Going clockwise places the flat, streamside Section at the end (it can get hot in the sun here). Quiet area. Some old railway structures. No benches en route but there is a handy fallen log approx half way around that makes a good seat -see photo. There's also a pleasant picnic spot at Highlight 1, beside stream . No toilets in station. Nearest decent tea shop: Tulip tea rooms im Chiddingstone Nearest pub: The Castle Inn in Chiddingstone
