Point-to-Point
This medium hike from Hadfield covers about 7.4 miles with roughly 1,050 ft of climbing and 385 ft of descent. Starting near the edge of the Peak District, it gradually gains height onto open countryside with broad views over the Longdendale valley and surrounding hills and finishing off at a huge waterfall. The route is steady rather than steep, but the distance and elevation make it a solid outing suitable for reasonably fit walkers.
