Lovely walk round, easy to follow route. Can be muddy in places. Best to get there early as it can be busy in good weather and holidays
Buff Wood and Hayley Wood NNR Loop

This trail is just under 8 miles, it took me 3 hours with minimum rest stops, both woods have no public access. There is a WWII memorial to a bomber that crashed in Hayley Wood. There are a few abandoned houses and working farms, there is a deconsecrated medieval church dating from 1217. There are plenty of opportunities to cut the trial short or to make it longer.
