Shortest way to hike to/from the best viewpoint along Diez Vistas Trail. This route skips the long, less interesting woodland hike around the far side of Buntzen Lake so the hike can be completed quicker if time or stamina is limited. Most of the other viewpoints along the trail have grown over since the trail was created so views aren't great from the other spots and you don't miss any spectacular views turning back after this viewpoint. Technically I believe this was originally the third vista.
