Out and Back
This is an extinct Cinder Cone Volcano & geological monument. This is the back-route to this hike that I grew up taking, there is a modern easier version from the opposite side of the mountain. This route Requires going underneath 2-6 Barbed wire fences put in to heard wild cattle & other animals. It is not for a beginner due to the steep terrain in certain parts, unstable basalt rocks at the slope to the top, small cliffs at the top (20-100ft) & urban exploration aspects of the route.
