Walked northbound over five days in September 2021. Extraordinary, enjoyable and hugely rewarding hike. No flaws with the map; it aligned to the one downloaded on my GPS and with the paper map, though anyone looking to follow the variations note that only the most popular route is shown here.

By far the most beautiful part of the UK. Hike is harder than it seems given the lack of trial and long days, I'd compare it to the Tour De Mont Blanc. Did it fully wild camping, Highly recommended

Amazing! if you're wild camping, be sure to take a good chunk of stage 2 off by camping at the foot of Bheinn Edra on day 1. There's a water source and some good ground as well as it being the halfway point of the ridge.

First trail I ever completed. It’s truly magical. If walking south bound your day 2 will be your hardest day of walking across the Trotternish Ridge
