I'm definitely claiming this one as an achievement given the appalling weather for half my trip. I travelled northwards. As reviewer @Katie mentioned the wild camping opportunities are few and far between and,I did end up in some weird stealth pitches along the way. Some of the terrain can be hard going. Water sources are limited so stock up wherever you get a chance. I only met one other hiker throughout the whole trip. There are available campsites but some of these involve diverting off the route. The coastal views are immense and some of the beaches seem to stretch on forever. Tons of photo ops but I found it more sensible to snap and run in order to maintain a decent mileage. There are some rough bits and a couple of "where should I be going?" moments. Beware of hidden barbed wire in the undergrowth particularly along the clifftop adjacent to farmland where a few irresponsible folk have just deposited excess wire onto the trail. Finally expect cows to visit. LOTS of cows. I pitched late on a few times in quiet areas only to be awakened by herds surrounding my tent which obviously necessitated a move. They appear out of nowhere lol. I totally recommend adding this one to your list.
