Mt Faust Loop is a 15.3 kilometre lightly trafficked loop trail located near Culverden, Canterbury, that has a river crossing and is rated as difficult. For information on how we grade trails, please click here. The track begins at the Boyle Village end of the St James Walkway and starts to climb almost immediately with a steady gradient. Once the bush line is reached though, the bulk of the climbing is done, so enjoy the great views of the rivers and valleys below. Stay overnight in Boyle Flats Hut, this is a serviced, 20 bed hut and booking is required prior to starting.
