Well-marked, beautiful country, stunning views, good B&Bs, interesting sights, great variety (mountains, valleys, ocean, forest, villages, middle-of-nowhere), very friendly locals.

Did 150km from Killarney to Kenmare at the end of August 2019 which was an unforgettable experience and a good challenge! Got very good at drying boots hahah The trail is well marked and well maintained for the most part. Beautiful views and wonderful b&b hospitality. Next to no serviced stops each day so be sure to have enough water for the day. Highly recommended!

Did the Kerry Way in September 2019, clockwise. Beautiful landscape, lots of nice villages and remote places to cross.. wildcamping is perfect there too, but LEAVE NO TRACE ;)

Walked the Kerry Way in September of 2018. Didn’t get to complete the full route but absolutely loved every bit I did. This trail is particular good for history lovers. The trail can be boggy in parts which some may find challenging in parts but one thing you can say for sure is, the trail is never boring.
