Loved this trail, every day was different and I broke it up into 6 days following the Hiiker app. Important to know there are no waymarkers as it follows different trails including the Cambrian way, Slate trail and the pilgrims way so it's. important to download the route as the path isn't always clear. There was a bit more road walking than I anticipated but welcome at times to get the miles in. I managed to stop in 3 hostels and one of them was the comfiest I've ever stopped in ( Lledr house ) a mile off route at the end of day 4. Look out for plenty of Red Kite and Osprey especially in the southern section and you walk past the Mach Loop so there's plenty of jets and other military aircraft. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who's used to walking trails. Not too hard but challenging enough to keep it interesting

An awesome route! Definitely my favourite trail to date. It was a certainly a challenge but the stunning scenery made every step worthwhile :) For a full video breakdown check out my YouTube channel - Drunk On Wanderlust

Easy walk from the car park to base of waterfall . If you want a light scramble cross over the river and you can scramble your way the side of waterfall with stunning views walked this in July this year while it was raining which added to the atmosphere
