A windy steep climb to the summit showing spectacular views. Lake Bala can be seen in the distance. (am sure I saw Mary Jones too).. sadly never managed to finish the return path due to a very stern looking bull who was watching me from behind a fenced area with no gate to be seen to go through either (not shown on the route).. returned on the the same route.. The castle is in complete ruin vaguely making out a couple of rooms here and there and the only history to be found is on that American info channel. An interesting history it is about a couple of male family members falling out, and one waiting for the othe to die to inherit the castle.. but hey.. thankyou Wales again for not disappointing with the views..
