The area was originally inhabited by the Coast Salish peoples, and you may come across interpretive signs along the trail that provide insights into their history and culture.

Navigation

For navigation, it's highly recommended to use the HiiKER app, which provides detailed maps and real-time updates. The trail is well-marked, but having a reliable navigation tool can enhance your hiking experience and ensure you stay on track.

Final Stretch

The return journey takes you through a series of gentle descents and rolling terrain, bringing you back to the trailhead. The entire loop can be completed in about 2-3 hours, depending on your pace and the number of stops you make to enjoy the scenery.

Prepare adequately with water, snacks, and appropriate footwear, as the trail can be muddy in sections, especially after rain. Enjoy your hike and the natural beauty that the Fragrance Lake Trail has to offer!
