This shortcut reconnects with the main trail after about 3 km (1.9 miles).

Oyster Dome Continuing on the main trail, you’ll reach the iconic Oyster Dome at around the 7 km (4.3 miles) mark. This rocky outcrop offers panoramic views of the San Juan Islands, Samish Bay, and even the Olympic Mountains on a clear day. It’s a perfect spot for a break and some photography.
