Elevation and Terrain

The trail's elevation gain of 100 meters (328 feet) is gradual, making it manageable for most hikers. The terrain is a mix of sandy paths and rocky sections, so sturdy hiking boots are recommended. The highest point of the trail offers panoramic views of the surrounding desert and rock formations, making the climb well worth the effort.

Preparation Tips

• Water: Carry at least 2 liters (0.53 gallons) of water per person, as the desert environment can be dehydrating.
• Sun Protection: Wear a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen to protect yourself from the intense sun.
• Timing: The best times to hike are early morning or late afternoon to avoid the midday heat.

By following these guidelines and being well-prepared, you can fully enjoy the natural beauty and historical richness of the Entrada Canyon Trail.
