I started this walk from the Groe Car Park, Builth Wells LD2 3BG which was £3.25 for 4 hours and has toilets. Its pretty much on the high street so plenty of facilities around.
From here we headed NW out through the Park past the church and swimming pool then on to the Iron Bridge and Golf Course on good paths.
On leaving the golf course, once through the gate handrail the boundary to Park Wells, The path is a little sketchy here due to storm damage but once through this section the footpath is pretty straight forward up to Rhosferig Fawr and Rhoscwm (for sale).
Upon leaving here and heading back down to the Wye, the path does get a little boggy in places but i got away with trail shoes rather than boots.
I found the next section absolutely stunning. an easy stretch back into Builth Wells along the Wye with rapids, falls, beaches and plunge pools (for those who like a dip). I didnt get in as wasnt prepared but the dogs loved it!
