Winchcombe & Belas Knap Loop - Upper Limits UK

Today we met at St Peters Church Winchcombe which has some great history linked to the Abbey that was previously situated just behind the church. Parking here is limited but there is plenty of other free parking close by.

From the church we headed SE picking up the Winchcombe Way to Wadfield Farm then on up to Humblebee Cottages. There is then a short road section before picking up the Cotswold Way up to Belas Knap a neolithic long barrow with a false entrance and side chambers.

Continuing on the Cotswold Way to Breakheart Plantation and toward Postlip Hall, Mills and House along the River Isbourne.

You then have a few options to head back to Winchcombe. We stayed on the Cotswold Way but cut back through the village to complete the circular.
