VIsevnik Loop - Upper Limits Uk

We started todays route from Rudno Polje just 1m under the height of Ben Nevis (the highest peak in the UK). The car park here is currently €7 a day. Its free for Slovenian Soldiers but never thought to ask if British Army / Veterans count as plenty of polish Soldiers here too! The trail up is steep but really straight forward and clearly signed. you may need to scramble in places but its not difficult so still an easy route. The summit of Visevnik at 2050m gives the most amazing views over the Julian Alps and is highly recommended with lots of route options from its summit. We descended on a less familiar route, beautiful but with storm damage there is a section of approx 150m that is steep and on testing ground other than that its a great option. Probably my favourite route so far on this trip. A chilled day planned for tomorrow and then we hope to head up to Vodnikov Dom (if its open). We will be back to bag Triglav I am sure in July 2026.
