Covering about 256 miles with around 33,400 ft of ascent and 36,000 ft of descent, this route links moorland plateaus, deep valleys and open farmland. Expect exposed, often boggy sections, big daily distances and serious elevation changes, best suited to fit, experienced hikers seeking a long, varied cross‑country journey.
