A lovely short walk starting from Ambleside, taking in town views, a brief woodland section and open fell scenery before reaching peaceful Lily Tarn. It’s only a gentle uphill climb, making this a great family friendly route, and the tarn itself has a bench where you can sit, slow down and enjoy a moment of calm.
