Juvvashytta - Galdhoppigen - Spiterstule

Challenging mountain route starting near Lom, climbing steeply into the high country above the valley. Over about 6.9 km, the hike gains roughly 4,465 ft and loses about 825 ft, so expect sustained, demanding ascents and some uneven, rocky terrain. Views improve quickly, opening toward the surrounding Jotunheimen peaks. This is a strenuous, single-day outing suitable only for experienced, well-equipped hikers in good weather.
