Challenging 11.9 km route with around 800 m of ascent and 830 m of descent, starting and ending near Lochcarron in the Northwest Highlands. Expect steep, sustained climbs and rocky, uneven terrain with rewarding views over rugged hills, sea lochs, and scattered crofts. Suitable for experienced hikers with good fitness and navigation skills. Allow about 3.5–4 hours and be prepared for rapidly changing Highland weather.
