Everest Base Camp Day 5

A demanding 10.3 km route starting near Khumjung, this hike climbs about 683 m with 273 m of descent over roughly 4 hours. The trail leaves the Sherpa village area and heads toward the higher slopes above the Dudh Koshi valley, offering wide views of Ama Dablam and the Everest region. Steep, sustained ascents and rocky sections make it suitable for experienced hikers comfortable with high-altitude terrain.
