Cnicht - Upper Limits UK

Ben wanted to check out the local accommodation so we headed out from the Croesor car park (which is free and has a clean portaloo) to take in the Cnicht Hotel again clean and would have room for 2/3 people for an overnighter. Rather than heading back to the main path we took a slightly more direct route back across to the main ridge. Once we rejoined the track it was a steady Grade 1 scramble up on the summit at 689m. The views from here were stunning but didnt manage to get the drone up on this visit. Once clear of the summit the path its clear down toward Llyn yr Adar. You will need to be on top of your Nav from here especially in poor conditions and depending on your route choice. We went out to Llynnau Diffwys and on to Bwlch y Rhosydd. The path back down to Croesor is signed here but dont miss it! This takes you on the lower direct path back down to the car park with some route choice options to be made on the lower section.
