An Elterwater Excursion

Number of Wainwright's: Four (Loughrigg Fell, Black Fell, Holme Fell, Lingmoor Fell)

A challenging medium hike of about 21.6 km with around 1,170 m of ascent and 1,200 m of descent, forming a rewarding circuit that starts and ends near the same point in the Lake District. Expect sustained climbs and descents, with varied terrain and wide views over the surrounding fells and valleys. Best suited to reasonably fit hikers comfortable with longer days and significant elevation change.
