An easy circular walk from rural Suffolk, covering about 6 miles in just over 2.5 hours. The route is mostly flat with gentle undulations making it suitable for most walkers. Starting and ending near Brandon Leisure Centre it follows the Little Ouse to Brandon bridge then up Gas House Drove crossing Thetford road at its junction with Green rd then on into the forest along quiet tracks and footpaths alongside open fields, forest and farmland, offering wide skies, patchwork farmland views, and a relaxed countryside atmosphere. Toilets and free parking are available at the leisure centre. Approx 25 minutes before the end of the walk the Copper Beech cafe will be open where refreshments can be obtained and toilet facilies are available.
