Staubbachbänkli and Leiterhorn Loop

Fabulous walk with spectacular views and very few people! Absolutely enchanting. This starts from Hotel Bellevue and is most spectacular in the direction towards Staubbachbänkli and then looping round to Leiterhorn. This walk takes a lot longer when you stop to take in the views.

You will pass a honesty fridge that had cheese for sale. Plus beautiful traditional home with stunning gardens that were in full bloom ( July). From Leiterhorn you can see the Oberberghorn, a striking, vertical limestone rock tower located along the Schynige Platte Panorama Trail. When viewed from this angle along the ridge, the jagged, eroded edges of this massive rock formations create a vivid silhouette resembling human facial profiles sticking out from the mountainside.This phenomenon is a classic example of pareidolia—the human brain's natural tendency to see familiar patterns, particularly human faces, in random shapes like rock formations. Binoculars are worth having for this hike!
