I took my dog Athena on the trail with me. It was great! Lot's of smaller cut off trails to the lake, benches to rest and take in breathtaking views, I overcame my fear of heights and enclosed spaces and I walked across the bridge with ease. The bridge has a very high fence/railing so I was ok with it. I highly recommend this trail, it won't disappoint.
