As you start your hike, you'll immediately notice the serene beauty of Beaver Lake, a small but picturesque body of water that serves as the focal point of the loop. The trail hugs the shoreline for a significant portion, offering stunning views and ample opportunities for birdwatching. Keep an eye out for local species such as mallards, herons, and occasionally, bald eagles.

Flora and Fauna

Points of Interest

Safety and Preparation

While the trail is relatively flat, it can become muddy after rain, so waterproof hiking boots are recommended. There are no significant elevation changes, but some sections can be rocky or root-covered, requiring careful footing. Always carry water, especially during the warmer months, and consider bringing insect repellent as mosquitoes can be prevalent.
