Tower Hill Loop

The route

This is a loop, so the walk returns to its starting point without retracing the whole way. The line of the route forms a compact circuit on the slopes of Tower Hill, using woodland paths and forest roads. Although the distance is modest, the climb and descent give it a more varied feel than a flat park walk, with a steady rise toward the higher ground before the route bends back down through the trees.

Getting there

The wider trail network includes a trailhead and car park, so arriving by car is the simplest option. The walk is best planned as a short drive from Waterford.
