Sheana Mhach Bog Trails - Siúlóod na Spéartha Dorcha

This easy bog walk covers 3.6 km / 2.2 mi with only 7 m / 23 ft of climbing, so it suits a relaxed outing of about 45 minutes. Despite the short distance, it gives a strong sense of open bogland, with low, wide horizons and very little height change. The highest point is just 39 m / 126 ft, keeping the route gentle throughout.

Although recorded here as a point-to-point trail, the start and finish are at the same location, so walkers can expect a short waymarked outing from the same access point.
